A simple one pan meal to whip up during the week! Apples and pork chops go so well together. Sweet and savoury, the perfect combo!

Instructions

  1. 1

In a large skillet, heat 2 Tbsp butter and the olive oil on medium high heat. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper then add them to the heated pan. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until they are cooked through, the time will depend on how thick your pork chops are. Remove them from the heat and set aside.

  2. 2

Lower the heat to medium and add the remaining butter and the onions. Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. Mix in the garlic and apples. Cook the apples for 4 to 5 minutes or until they soften. Add the pork chops back in and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Add some broth or water if needed (white wine works here too!).

  3. 3

Garnish with sage, more salt and pepper if needed, then serve. Enjoy!
