2 med
Carrots

1 cup
Black Sesame Seeds

2 cups
Chickpeas

1 tsp
Sea Salt
divided
1/2 cup
Tahini
1
Preheat the oven to 400℉.
2
Toss the carrots with 1 Tbsp of olive oil and roast for 15 minutes until soft and starting to brown.
3
Meanwhile, add the black sesame seeds to a food processor and process on high until a paste forms. This will likely take about 5 minutes of continuous processing. Scrape the sides if necessary.
4
Then, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 ½ cups of the chickpeas, 2 garlic cloves, half the cumin, half the lemon juice and ½ teaspoon of the salt to the food processor. Process until smooth. Add up to 4 tablespoons of water, if needed, to create a smoother hummus. It should be smooth enough that you can spread it.
5
Clean out the food processor and add the remaining ingredients along with the roasted carrots. Process until smooth and add up to 4 tablespoons of water to create a smoother hummus, if needed.
6
To a medium sized serving plate with rimmed edges, start to dollop the black hummus and the orange hummus all over the plate in a random design. Use the end of a utensil to pull the hummuses into each other to create a marbled effect.
7
7. Serve with your choice of crudites, crackers and other dippables. Enjoy!
