What I love the most about these is that they are so versatile! You can use any ground meat, any cheese and you can even make them plant-based. You can add veggies inside or add them on top afterwards. Serve them with favourites like salsa, guacamole and sour cream!
Instructions
1
Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onions and cook for three to four minutes or until they soften.
2
Add the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Mix in all of the spices. Cook for seven to eight minutes or until browned and cooked through.
3
Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
4
To assemble the tacos, add some cheese to one side of a tortilla followed by some cooked beef and more cheese. Fold the other side of the taco over and press down so it stays down. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
5
Bake for six to seven minutes per side or until browned and crispy. Serve and enjoy!

Notes: One serving is two tacos. Use any ground meat like chicken, turkey, pork or lamb. Make them plant-based by using a plant-based meat and cheese alternative. Use a gluten-free or grain-free tortilla if needed.
